We clamp off the\ncords in this situantion giving us time to concentrate on the next new\narrival. We have used the cord clamps many times on our own puppies and we\nremove the clamp as soon as we feel cord has stopped bleeding which is usually\nwithin the hour (normally around 20 minutes) n - We do not put with mum while\nthe clamp is on, so she does not pull at the clamp while cleaning.
